SUMMARY

Your old friend invites you on a fishing trip to his uncle's cabin, as you used to when you were children. When you arrive, you find that the cabin is run down and seemingly untouched, but excitedly begin your fishing trip nonetheless. Things get weird fast, but at least yer catchin fish!!
With a creepy atmosphere and genuinely really fun gameplay, Fishing Vacation dives deep (ha) into the potential horrors that can come with... fishing.

OPINIONS

Fishing Vacation is a 2020 "Fishing Horror Jam" entry, styled like an original Gameboy game. I can't speak on the upgraded "Deluxe Version", but the original was fantastic and I can only image the upgrade is even better. This is a short game (it was made for a game jam, so that's probably a given) but a great experience and completely worth the current $2 price.
If you don't have the $2 to spare, the original version (of which I'm familiar with) is still completely free, and you can find it listed with the demos on the game page.
