ITCH.IO 4EVER!!! Alright. I've played a lot of good little indie games (horror or otherwise) from here and for the most part, for whatever variety of reasons, I can't really justify giving them an entire dedicated and themed webpage. More often than not because a lot of them are short. I am still figuring out how I should incorporate all the Haunted PS1 demo games on here.. probably will have to do them individually. That'll be updated. :)

THE BEAR, THE CAT AND THE RABBIT

This game has especially enamoured me because I could not fucking finish it. And it seems like no one else has finished it. Or, at least, if they have, they've never said anything about it. I fear I will never figure this game out. A little puzzle game, dark with amazing vibes to it, where you utilize the three titular characters who each have their own quirks. A while ago I had gotten quite a whlie into it before getting completely stumped. If this is ever figured out, I will update... but in the meantime you should try and if you figure it out then TELL MEEEE.

WATER WOMB WORLD

Absolutely a highlight in the things I've picked up. You're in a little submarine lab on the sea floor, collecting shit. You want to find Eden. I'm not saying anything more than that, you should literally just play it. Free, approx. 15 minutes, and one of my absolute favorites.

THE OPEN HOUSE

I can't say that I find this game particularly scary... its one of those horror games where I mostly just laugh because of how goofy it is. That being said, I think this is notable for the format alone, being stylized as an online 3D house map tour for potential homebuyers. Super interesting to me as a horror concept.

THAT NIGHT, STEEPED BY BLOOD RIVER

One of those games thats less of a game and more of an "abstract experience". A "weird art game" if you will, which has actually recieved a fair amount of praise already. I enjoyed it a lot, even while I was in a space where I was pretty tired of abstract games like this.

THE FLOOR IS BREATHING

Short horror experience where you play as a serial killer in the days before her arrest. Great atmosphere, honestly just accomplishes what it sets out to make. Never felt very over the top as some horror games tend to.
